My background
From CFO to your CPA
I've spent nearly 30 years working inside organizations — as an auditor, financial analyst, and Chief Financial Officer. That experience gave me something most CPAs don't have: a deep understanding of what it actually feels like to manage finances from the inside.
Much of my career has been in healthcare, where I've overseen financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, payroll, benefits administration, and audit coordination. I hold a master's degree in Health Sciences Management, and I've seen firsthand how the right financial guidance can make or break an organization.
Now, based in Mills River, North Carolina, I bring that same depth of experience to my CPA practice. My goal is simple: give you clear explanations, information you can actually use, and the kind of personal attention that builds a lasting relationship.
